Yes. Wright Sights welcomes new shooters. If you're not sure which course is right for you, contact Damon to discuss your experience, comfort level, and goals before booking.
What's included in the NYS 18-hour course?
The course combines 16 hours of classroom instruction with 2 hours of live-fire training. Topics include safety, storage, legal responsibilities, and foundational skills. Review the course listing for completion requirements and included equipment.
How do I see prices and register?
Choose a date above and select “Pricing & registration.” You'll continue to the class's USCCA registration page to review pricing, details, and availability before booking. For cash or Zelle arrangements, call or text Damon.
Do I need to bring my own equipment?
Equipment needs vary by class. The NYS course listing includes a handgun, ammunition, targets, and eye and ear protection. NJ training has different equipment needs. Check your exact class listing and contact Damon with questions before bringing a firearm.
Where do classes take place?
The listed NYS classes are at Molino Arms, 46 NY-303, Valley Cottage, NY 10989. The listed NJ classes are at Master Class Shooting Supply, 2 Stair Way, Monroe, NY 10950. Always review your selected registration and instructor instructions for final class and range details.
Can I arrange a private lesson or group class?
Yes. Tell Damon about your goals and preferred dates to discuss private instruction or a class for your group. Scheduling and pricing are confirmed directly before booking.
What if I need to cancel?
The current class listings require at least 48 hours' notice for a full refund. Review the policy on your selected registration page before booking and contact Damon if your plans change.
